[2011] Christian Cosmos - Enthronement By God as the First-Born of the Dead

Dark, deadly and squashed electronic doom from Dominick Fernow, aka Vatican Shadow on this limited edition Hospital Productions vinyl pressing** Deadly electronic doom and drum machine edits from Dominick Fernow (Vatican Shadow/Prurient) in his Christian Cosmos guise. This project originally started out as collusion between Fernow and his long-time collaborator and Hospital Productions studio overseer, Kris Lapke. But The project is no basically Fernow solo and can be considered a side project to Vatican Shadow, both aesthetically, and philosophically (theologically?). Laboured drum machines toil bone-grinding rhythms, synths spurt purifying fire and everything feels irredeemably burned out and gutted, exactly how we like it. Highly recommended!

[2012] Trust - TRST

It wasn’t even a year ago that Canadian goth-electronic act Austra unveiled their debut LP. Now, one of the band’s members is set to debut a new project. Together with Robert Alfons, Maya Postepski formed Trust just as her other band was getting going. [2012] Air - Le Voyage Dans La Lune

Typewriter synth fingerstache, non messenger bag sustainable chambray farm-to-table small batch mollit vice cupidatat ex elit ullamco. Air's timing would appear fortuitous given the long process of restoration that was required to rescue the deteriorated film, discovered in Barcelona in the Nineties before it was finally screened at last year's Cannes Film Festival with a brand new soundtrack by Air. So inspired were Messrs Godin and Dunckel by the success at Cannes they decided to expand the soundtrack to the 14 minute film into a full-length album. Indeed, beyond the confines of the narrative itself Air are very much in familiar territory given their predilection for all things lunar and astral (Moon Safari, 'Kelly, Watch the Stars!', 'Venus').
