[2011] Grouper - A I A Dream Loss

The tools Liz Harris uses to make music as Grouper tend to be pretty basic: piano, guitar, synths, drones, hiss, and lots of reverb. If you've been following along with the twists and turns of noisy ambient music these last few years, this collection of elements may sound familiar, possibly bordering on cliché. But it's all in how you fit the pieces together. Despite sharing characteristics with a lot of other current music, Harris' has a distinctive sound that she pretty much owns. These short LPs, released at the same time and that share an overall aesthetic, sound beamed in from another realm, and they also sound like they could have come from no one else.

Size 1978-1984 : Homenaje a Illy Bleeding

Size fue un grupo post-punk mexicano activo entre 1978 y 1984. Sus integrantes eran Illy Bleeding (Jaime Keller), Dennis Sanborns (Walter Schmidt), This Grace (Carlos Robledo) y Dean Stylette.

En verano de 2009, Illy y los Robotes entraron al estudio de grabación para trabajar su primera obra sonora en formato de Doble EP con pistas originales de SIZE y material nuevo.

Lamentablemente, Illy no llegó a ver el material publicado. El 23 de octubre de 2010, tras grabar el video del sencillo "El diablo en el cuerpo", Illy sufrió un accidente automovilístico. Iba viajando en un taxi que fue impactado del lado en que el músico viajaba, por un automóvil que se pasó un alto. Días después, 26 de octubre, Illy Bleeding murió a consecuencia del accidente, lo cual vuelve incierto el futuro de la banda.
